Learning Coach

Immediate start; Fixed Term; Term Time Only; 30 hours a week

Due to staff changes we are looking for a Learning Coach to assist during this transition period as the board restructures its Supported Learning Centre. The role will begin as soon as possible and finish on 6 December 2024. It is a term time only position working under the supervision of our Head of Supported Learning. The work would be based in Te Whare Poutama, our Learning and Achievement Centre as well as supporting students in the classroom.

This varied role provides an opportunity to make a positive impact on our students’ lives, guiding them on their educational journey and assisting them to access the curriculum.

Experience as a Learning Coach and or working with diverse teenagers would be an advantage. Essential traits include excellent interpersonal skills, being flexible and adaptable with a collaborative approach. This is a fixed term position working approximately 30 hours per week between the hours of 8.30am and 3.10pm Monday to Friday, term time only. Remuneration is based on previous experience and skillset and is competitive. Please see the Job Description for more information.
